James Hardiman Library Podium Refurbishment

Resetting of paving & repair of access steps on the podium around the James Hardiman Library. The works involved lifting the existing paving, removing the concrete dabs & cold roof insulation, cleaning of drainage and resetting the paving on adjustable paving pedestals to existing levels.

Ancillary works included removal of handrails to steps and installation of new precast threads, risers & carborundum nosing strips to the steps, reinstatement of the handrails, and new brick paving on the approach to the steps.
