The work involved improvement of the containment of vehicles at OBS 487, retaining & reconstruction of the embankment as sections of the footpath had collapsed.

The works involved the design & implementation of Traffic Management to create safe working area for the different phases of the works, site clearance of the existing fencing and footpath, construction of Piling platform and Installation of 7m & 4m 40mm Ø Mini piles around which a reinforced concrete Ground beam was constructed.

To complete the works a new wider public footpath was constructed & macadam surfaced, New 1.2m high recycle Plastic Picket Fencing was erected along the edge of the new footpath and Timber clad N2W5 crash barrier was installed on the approaches to the Bridge.
