Construction of a new graveyard at Loganstown, Trim, Co Meath. An existing green field site was developed into a burial ground with a total of 2400 single plots, a Garden of Remembrance and Columbarium Wall for internment of Urns with all associated drainage, ducting, watermain, internal roads & paths, a 101-space carpark and both hard & soft landscaping.
The existing local road was upgraded for 600m from the new graveyard entrance to the junction with the R161. Road upgrades include widening of the road to at least 6m, a 2m footpath with insitu kerbs & street lighting, drainage & ducting, repair of watermains and plaining and resurfacing of the road to new falls & cambers. All works were constructed to TII specifications
The works also include a 65m2 office building with public toilets, caretakers’ office & canteen and storage shed for plant & maintenance equipment.
