Acting as PSCS on this complex live-environment project at Dublin Airport T1, we coordinated all works between DAA and subcontractors for a new rooftop plant room spanning multiple floors.

A key value-add was our team’s redesign of the structural steel solution. The original design required large beams within passenger circulation areas; by reviewing the existing structure, we relocated all steelwork to the roof level, eliminating terminal disruption entirely. CORA Structural Engineers developed the redesign, approved by DAA and the PSDP.

Roof works included RC plinth construction, 15 tonnes of structural steel, a Sikaplan roofing membrane, AHU installation by crane, louvre panels, and a new fall arrest system. Riser works on Levels 20 and 30 involved structural floor opes, secondary steelwork, and retail/hospitality reinstatement. Full mechanical, electrical, testing, commissioning, and BCAR safety file handover were completed.
