Terminal 1 6 Bay Baggage Handling Sorter

On this project we were engaged by Daifuku to carry out all Temporary Works & Enabling Works including removal of existing conveyor systems , design and installation of primary and secondary structural steel works for the new baggage handling system and baggage chutes, construction of structural RC plinths, Troax fencing, Anti-fatigue matting, new guardrails, strip out old sprinkler system and install new, extensive electrical incl BHS isolations and decommissioning and demolition of old redundant electrical infrastructure, full new MEP & ICT design , installation , testing and commissioning.

Successfully acting as PSCS with key project challenges including working in a live airport environment, with live electrical systems, on critical infrastructure, and with out-of-normal-hours working as required.
