Killarney Soil Nailing Project

This project involved the installation of 190 No. Dywidag MAI type R25N self-drilling soil nails drilled at 2.5 meter centers horizontally and 2.5 meter centers vertically and to maximum depth of 7.0 meters and fixed onto layer of MacMat – R Netting using 300 by 300mm plates.   Ancillary works included trimming back vegetation and loose spoil, removal of spoil off site, testing of nails, & installation of Vertical filter drains.
