Irish Rail - GSMR packs 6

Construction of Telecommunication Towers at various sites ( 20 nr ) on the Dublin to Westport and Dublin to Sligo Lines. Works included construction of reinforced concrete bases and the erection of the masts or monopoles at the various sites. Many sites required piling due to existing ground conditions. All sites required UTX’s ( under track crossings ) substantial trackside ducting, JB4A chambers, lightning protection measures, construction of compounds including palisade fencing, palisade gates, access roads. 

Towers varied in heights from 15m to 30m. 

All works were successfully and safely completed within a live railway environment.
