Brian Conneely & Co. Ltd. was responsible for the construction of the first passive house building for any railway company in the world. Since then, the company was one of the first companies in Ireland to trial Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB) in the education sector. These projects consisted of retrofitting existing school buildings to NZEB standards as well as incorporating newly built extensions into the schools. We are committed to helping our clients power their future with clean, renewable energy. Recently to address our clients requests the company has expanded its operations to include the installation of solar PV and EV chargers. These works have led directly to the company launching a new website www.conneelyenergy.ie. Conneelyenergy has partnered with Affinity EV and plans to specialise in the supply and installation of renewable technologies and the supply and installation of residential and commercial EV chargers.
Brian Conneely & Co. Ltd. recognise the need for increasing the sustainability of the company and is in the process of installing a 100 kWp photovoltaic system at its head office to use renewable power to power our facilities which in turn will reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. Alongside the PV installation we are also installing AC and DC commercial EV chargers as well as an energy storage system. We plan to transition the company fleet over the coming years to EV’s and the installation of this charging station is the first step.
