Acting as PSCS on behalf of the daa, this was Ph 1 of the daa’s new security detection system to be installed in both T1 & T2.

Following erection of re-useable hoarding to define the site boundaries within the busy terminals, works commenced on de-commissioning of the old security lanes and removal of same in a safe manner to a designated daa storage compound.

Enabling electrical and mechanical works were completed to facilitate to installation and commissioning of the new state of the art security lanes. An extensive logistical plan had to be put in place due to the complexity of the project and the sensitivity and weight of the new security lanes. All logistical works were carried at night so as to minimize disruption to passengers.
